Chakra in Sanskrit means "wheel" and refers to energy points in your body. Some say there are 114 different chakras, but there are seven main chakras that run along your spine. Each of the seven chakras (described below) are said to correlate with different abilities, expressions, and types of health.

This dreamcatcher was created with one missing Chakra, in this case the Solar Plexus Chakra. My purpose with the missing Chakra of the Dreamcatcher is that it can only be completed by you. As you will read below, the Solar Plexus Chakra stands for our ability to be confident and free to express our true selves. This is an invitation to ask yourself: "What do I love most about myself?", "What does happiness mean to me?", "What have I been wanting to try for a long time?", "What has been stopping me from doing it?". Take a moment to reflect, write your thoughts down and start taking action!

✦ Root Chakra or Muladhara represents our foundation. On the human body, it sits at the base of the spine and gives us the feeling of being grounded. When the root chakra is open, we feel confident in our ability to withstand challenges and stand on our own two feet. When it's blocked, we feel threatened, as if we're standing on unstable ground.

✦ Sacral Chakra or Swadhisthana helps inform how we relate to our emotions and the emotions of others. Emotionally, this chakra is connected to our feelings of self-worth, and even more specifically, our self-worth around pleasure, sexuality, and creativity.

✦ Solar Plexus Chakra or Manipura speaks to our ability to be confident and in control of our life. When out of alignment, it can make us feel lonely, insecure, and isolated.

✦  Heart Chakra or Anahata is the bridge between the lower chakras (associated with materiality) and the upper chakras (associated with spirituality). As the name suggests, this chakra can influence our ability to give and receive love—from others and ourselves. Someone with a blocked heart chakra will have difficulty fully opening up to the people in their life.

✦ Throat Chakra or Vishuddha gives voice to the heart chakra and controls our ability to communicate our personal power. When it's functioning at full capacity, it allows us to express ourselves truly and clearly. Someone with a blocked throat chakra will feel like they have trouble finding the words to say how they truly feel.

✦ Third-Eye Chakra or Ajna represents communion with the divine. The third-eye chakra, controls our ability to see the big picture and connect to intuition.

Crown Chakra or Sahasrara sits at the crown of the head and represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually. When we fully open our crown chakra—something very few people ever do!—we're able to access a higher consciousness.

  • In this dreamcatcher, there is a meaning deeply tied to the natural world. The shape of the dreamcatcher represents the circle of life. It symbolizes how everything in nature is connected with each other and how we as humans are connected to nature.

The dreamcatcher web acts like a shield for the bad dreams and the feathers like a ladder that let the good dreams slide down to us undisturbedly.

Crystals, just like any other element of this universe, are made of stardust. It is said that crystals help us connect with the energy of the universe. How we can connect with that energy, is by holding, wearing or keeping the crystals close to us, just like this dreamcatcher. Every crystal has different properties and there might be a reason you chose just this dreamcatcher. Take a look below to find out why.
